Running through from February 7th to March 10th, the Art Gallery of Ontario is hosting Jean-Michel Basquiat: Now’s the Time. Showcasing a host of artistic works from the Brooklyn native over his artistic career, the show takes a closer look at his pieces, examining common themes with the help of local professors, artists, and talent. Free audio tours, courtesy of Soundcloud, make it easy for even the most novice art aficionado to appreciate all Basquiat has to offer.
Featuring close to 85 large-scale paintings and drawings from private collections and public museums across Europe and North America, now is certainly the time to catch this beautiful curation.
Enjoy a selection of photos in and around (but not inside, photos are prohibited from being taken within the exhibit itself) the AGO.
